As a wedding photographer, The Boathouse at Sunday Park is one of those venues that consistently delivers. The natural light inside is excellent, especially during late afternoon ceremonies. Floor to ceiling windows, neutral finishes, and water views mean you are not fighting ugly lighting or distracting backgrounds. That matters more than people realize when it comes to photo and video quality. The ceremony space by the water is genuinely beautiful and photographs well from multiple angles. You can shoot wide, tight, and candid without feeling boxed in. Sunset portraits here are a win every time. Logistics are solid. Easy load in, straightforward layout, plenty of room to move without stepping on guests, and good flow between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. From a vendor standpoint, that makes the day smoother for everyone, including the couple. It is also a venue where couples can dress it up or keep it simple and it still looks intentional. You are not forced into a specific aesthetic. If you care about how your photos and film will actually look, not just how the venue looks in marketing images, this is a strong choice.

Went to dinner here with my best friend visiting from Florida. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. Jamie Cole was our server, she was friendly and attentive! The food was excellent! We had the bread basket, clam chowder soup, cesar salad, rockfish and the broiled seafood combination. The GM came by to make sure everything was okay and was very kind to us. We will definitely be back again!

My brother loves boat house and I finally joined him! The view was beautiful, happy hour drinks & appetizers were delicious, wait staff were super nice. My first Expresso Martini was everything. Crab and Artichoke dip was super yummy, and blackberry basil smash honestly surprised me in a good way! (orange crush, and strawberry heatwave) not our favorite but the watermelon marg was refreshing. Can't wait to come back.

Delicious food: - Gorgonzola Apple Salad (mixed greens, toasted marcona almonds, white balsamic vinaigrette with cranberry reduction). - Grilled Atlantic Salmon (sauteed spinach, crispy mushrooms and capers, roasted yukon gold potatoes, tomato basil butter sauce). - Grilled Chicken Florentine (pappardelle pasta, spinach, cream, roasted cherry tomatoes mushrooms, fresh parmesan). - Chocolate Chocolate Cake (dark chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, fresh from the Can Can Bakery).

I visited for our college singing group reunion and must say, it's a nice find on the water. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I opted for the crab dip and a salad as my lunch. Both items were very enjoyable, especially the salad.
